MARKETING COORDINATOR

ABOUT THE JOB:

SPG International is a growing, dynamic business and we’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help drive our growth even further. Based in our corporate office in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, you will serve as an integral resource to maximize the department’s efficiency, organization, and overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compose marketing correspondence and assist in developing and implementing marketing programs and materials.
  • Provide marketing-promotions and collateral support in coordination with the President/CEO and Vice President of Business Development.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Sales organization including: tracking, investigating and reporting sales information, maintaining customer database as well as assisting in the sales process by providing product information to customer requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our manufacturing rep organization, as well as provide them with monthly commission, incentive plan and rebate reporting.
  • Multi-task and prioritize daily and weekly objectives, as required by sales and marketing department.
  • Effectively communicate with sales and marketing team members, as well as management, in order to improve efficiencies and establish best practices.
  • Manage multiple aspects of tradeshow/events planning including: administration, rep participation and logistics for 10+ shows a year.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange, explain, and interpret information or ideas, and follow-up on customer requests.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly resourceful team-player
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to accomplish goals and objectives within time parameters.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure and appearance at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing function
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point), Salesforce or other CRM Software
